WHO ARE WE?
Founded in 1991, EUROPEA BELGIUM is a non-profit-making organization, which includes all secondary and high schools of the three Belgian communities and the three networks which organizes the different options in the agronomic sector.
EUROPEA BELGIUM is undoubtedly an original association in Belgium by its structure and how it works. It is a network of contacts made of schools and private companies.
EUROPEA BELGIUM is a member of the European Association EUROPEA (international non-profit-making organization) which brings together all national associations and has more than a thousand schools of the agricultural sector in 25 countries of the European Union.
OBJECTIVES OF EUROPEA BELGIUM:
- Organize meetings between teachers in agricultural at regional, national and European level;
- Participation in reflection works and writing benchmarks in agronomic training and innovating teaching approaches, mostly at European level;
- Piloting, organization and coordination of seminars, language exchanges, gatherings of students, sports tournaments, ... for youth from agricultural education;
- Welcoming and exchanges of teachers and students of agricultural sector in Europe
- Participation and organization of European competitions at the attention of students in agricultural education (photo contest, forestry contest, animal judge competitions, wine competitions, ...);
- Piloting and / or transnational participation in the development and management of European projects (mobility, skills transfer, pilot initiatives, partnerships, ...) supported by the European Union;
- Sharing: scientific experiences, educational and human resources so as to learn from them and invest in the development of a sustainable European agricultural and respectful of the environment and men.
